Alli Meehan is entering her 4th year with SandLegs as a head coach for our South Bay Elite training group. She was born and raised in Post Falls, Idaho. Alli comes from a volleyball family. Her mom played at the University of Montana, and both of her sisters played college volleyball. Alli began her coaching career 5 years ago at Post Falls Volleyball Club, where she was the assistant coach of both the U-13's and U-16's team.

Her favorite part of coaching is watching players grow both on and off the court and seeing those breakthrough moments. She finished her summer season with SandLegs as a head coach in both our 14s and 16s age groups. She helped the club to a 5th place finish at AAU nationals in the 15u division with the pair of Emmy Sharp and Lane Webster. Allison was promoted to Director on the Peninsula in Spring 2019.

As a player, Alli was originally recruited to the San Jose State Volleyball team as an indoor setter, but had the opportunity to play Beach as well and ended up falling in love with the sport; so much so that she decided to play an additional 5th year with the Spartans and 2 additional years coaching for SandLegs. She competed on the number 1 team for the Spartan beach volleyball team with partner, Lyndi Scholl.  The pair boasted wins against top ranked teams such as Stanford, Cal, and Pacific.

Alli is currently coaching and teaching at College of San Mateo, in addition to Sandlegs. As a player, she has a AAA rating and is working to accumulate points on the AVP and AVPNext pro levels.
